Will Derivative Applicants AP revoke Primary Applicants H1 ??

Hi All,
My wife and I have pending I-485 applications, we also have our H1 and H4 visas (without stamping in our passports). My wife is currently in India with a valid AP and would be entering USA with this. My wife and I have never used our EAD's.
The question is if my wife uses her AP will it invalidate my H1 and force me to work on EAD. I am asking this question since my EAD expires in the end of June 2005 and my company is ready to file for my 8th year H1 extension this month.

Usage of AP does not change visa status. You still will be in H1 status.
