Hi

My RD is 03/01/2002.I am thinking of changing my job and

address.Right now I have given New Hampsire(NH)

address(friend address) because my company is in NH.I am

working in a client place in MIchigan .They are intersting

in hiring me.If I want I can make them to wait for 4 to 6

months.NH belongs to VSC If I change my job and address to

Michigan next months. Will the VSC transfer my case to

NSC?.Is there any problem doing this?.Please explain.I am

too much confused.

Thanks in advance.

Change of address most likely triggers transfer to local office.

If you change job and your new employer locality is not with in VSC jurisdiction you can request transfer to NSC, I don't think it is automatic transfer.

It depends on the adjudication officer who is going to handle your case. There is nothing we can say confidently now.He could at his discretion transfer ur case to Michigan local office (or NSC also).I remember seeing some cases which have not been transfered though they have moved to states served by another service center.

As you know VSC is much faster than NSC.

Thanks

Thanks a lot Edison and GCSeekerInd.Yes I agree VSC is faster than NSC and I like to stay with VSC.I am really scared to do my job transfer because of these. It is a pain to see 18 months to 19 months and 20 ....
