Will calling IIO result in a RFE ?

Is it ok to call IIO to find out the status ? will it trigger any RFE ?

Not really! I called NSC almost every week from Nov '2002.

It appears that, IIOs have a knowledge of the history of us calling them, and apparently they remind us every time, that we called last time on so and so date ....

Any one with same experience?.

first rule of calling IIOs

don't call an IIO and ask stupid questions, such as, "suppose, in a hypothetical situation, somebody has been laid off, could they still get their green card if BCIS never finds out?"

then, if "somebody" gets an RFE, they deserved it!
