wife's status message changed ( EB3-India PD Not Current )

Here is what it says

"Current Status:
On April 7, 2005, we responded to your request for more information
concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30
days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."


Our case falls under retrogression, So i was just wondering what would be the reason for this update on my wife's case ..
 
Most likely an FP notice

A lot of people have gotten this message when an FP notice was mailed to them. Although your PD is not current they will probably still FP you. Not sure what the logic is.

Yes can be a message for inquiry as well

You may be right. The message has also been received by people that made an inquiry. Although I have seen some cases where the message resulted in an FP. God knows what these TSC guys do.

Either way RKGC there is nothing to worry. Some activity is better than no activity.

RKGC,
I have the same message on My I-485...
What it is My lawyer made inqury about I-140, but My message on I-485 changes,I asked my lawyer about that she said that since we filed I-140 & I-485 concurrently it may show up on I-485 case...
BTW after making inquiry I-140 approved in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it is for FP.... but you never know I'll keep my fingers crossed untill i see the notice...
