Wife's last name changed

My wife and I just got our US passports. As part of the process, my wife had her last name changed. Is there a thread that gives me a list of things to do or places to contact so her last name is reflected correctly in all places?

I am also planning on applying for a PIO card so I assume I need to have the above done first before applying for the PIO?
