I completed my Finger Printing in May and I am the primary applicant. So far we did not get FP notice for my wife. My question is...

Is it possible to show up at ASC and ask them to take her finger prints. Has anybody done that ? Please respond.

I had my FP done last month I am the primary applicant my wife has not recd her FP request as yet went for my FP took her reciept notice and PP etc but they did not do her FP as they apparently need the bar code printed on the notice they were very kind thought Infact they told us we could go to the nearest ASC once we get her notice and donot really have to drive 200miles to the center mentioned on the notice.
Hope this helps:)

Thanks !

First of all thanks a lot for your prompt replies ! I appriciate it.

GcMemphis!

Officers at 1-800 numbers are not helpful in ordering manual FPs. They are helpless too, I feel, because they are no way connected to FP dept. of TSC.

Kidsdoc!

Yeah! that was what I understood but recently I came to know from my friend's friend that they let him do it. It may be true or may not be.

Wish you guys all the best! May god bless you!!

GC_Aspirant_11,

I know that 800 officers are useless, still there is no other go for us. Earlier TSC 214# use to be atleast good.

I had to call up TSC 214# in month of May for scheduling my FP which they have done for June 12th.

I understand your pain. Why don't you try to go to nearest ASC and check your luck.

All the Best.

Thanks Memphis!

Thanks for your kind words, I will try that. Looks like nobody is successful here. But l will try it sometime this week, I will post my experience.

I was in the same boat.

I went through a similar stuff a year ago.
I got the FP notice for June 02. My wife did not get it.
Anyway took her along to check with the Charlotte office. They said that they cannot entertain this unless they have a FP notice.

Ultimately we had to wait for almost 11 months. She did her FP in May 03.

Meanwhile we checked (through our Lawyers) at the TSC and they confirmed that both our applications are tied togehter. Well, this was 10 months ago when there was no BCIS and only TSC#s were available.

Hope this helps.
