Wife's EAD Renewal

Hi,

My wife's I485 got transferred to local (newark) office. Now its time to renew the EAD... Please let me know where to file the EAD. Someone told me to file at Chicago lock box .. and somebody else said it's only for family based petition.

Please somebody let me know where to file ... did anyone get receipt back from Chicago for cases similar to mine....

File it at Chicago ONLY as your case is transferred to Local Office. If you still dont believe it, you are more than welcome to take an infopass appointment and meet with an immigration officer to prove what I am saying is right.
 
I believe you buddy .. it's not a question of believing and not believing ..

You got receipt back from chicago for EAD renewal?? I see lot of people didn't get any receipt after 1 month of filing in chicago and form says (c)(9) - family based .. it doesn't say anything about employment based cases.

I got it within a week and completed my biometrics also. Just waiting for final card. Even though it doesnt provide for c(9), employment based, you still need to file at Chicago Lock Box office only.

How about my case, my employment based I-485 is pending with Vermont center (as i know). But my EAD and AP application was sent to Chicago. Is this right? thanks
