Wife's case approved, my does not change since 2002-HELP

Guys,

I'm desperate.
My wife's case (she is the secondary on the I-485 - added several months after I applied) was approved, but my case does not change since 2002, whit the first fingerprinting notice.
What can I do!!?? The lawyers tell me they can't do anything, I don't belive it. There must be some error going on, .
I'm desperate, any light?

I would try contacting local Congressman / Senators office. they are usually very helpfull.
