Wife's AOS - Please Advise

Hello,

I need some advise on this matter. My I-485 was filed in Oct 02. My FP was done in Dec 02. My wife's 485 was filed using follow-to-join during May 03. So far I have not recieved FP notices for my wife.

My Questions:
1. When filed on follow to join basis, is the approval of the 485 tied to primary applicant's 485 or does it take its own course?

2. When I get my 485 approved, should I expect my wife's approval at the same time or will her approval come at a later date since it was filed much later than my 485?

Please advise on the same, all answers are appreciated.

what basis u applied for ur pettition? employment based or????????

is ur case 245(i) ???

---> Her 485 is dependent on your (primary applicant's) 485 approval. She cannot get approved before u.

---> Depends on BCIS.. She may be approved along with you or she may get her approval later.

thanks for the replies, when should I be expecting my wife's FP? I have recieved nothing so far, is that normal?
