Wife wants to study in USA.

Hi, I am in US on H1B. My wife is currently working in India. She wants to study in USA. Does she needs syudent VISA? or can she get admission in any educational institute just on H4 VISA she will get as my dependent.
Also, is she needed to clear TOEFL, GRE etc.?

Plz. advice.

Hi!

your wife will have to give GRE & TOEFL.
She can study on H4.
But she will not get benefits of F1 that is, she will not be able to accept any research assistantship, neither can she work on campus, nor will she get OPT for a year after completion of her degree.
If u havent applied for your GC, then F1 is a better option.
