Wife using EAD

Folks, I applied for EB-1 EA in Oct 06 and we just got our EAD cards. I'm in the 7th year of my H and don't intend to switch my job but if my wife gets her SSN and starts working on EAD and if our 140 gets rejected for any reason (yes, it's at NSC :)), will she lose her H4 status? Does it have any impact on my H-1B?

If your wife uses her EAD she looses her H4 status. If your I-140 get rejcted then it does not impact your H1b status as long as you have not used EAD. Your wife should apply for new/extension of old H4 status by filling form I-539 to regain H4 status.
