Wife Status Question??

As my signature shows I am waiting on my I-485 approval. My wife is on her H1B, but I have applied for I-485 based on my case already and she has an EAD as well. Can she quit her job? She is currently maintaining her H1B status? Is there any out of status time accumlated because of this? She plans to use her EAD once she quits and she entered US this year using her H1B Visa.

My sincere advise to you is NOT to let your wife abandon h1b. Maintaining
h1 or h4 throughout the life span of I485 is smart.
