Wife\'s SSN for FP

Is it mandatory for my to have SSN when we go for FP. She was on H4 and she has a Tax ID number. We did not apply for her SSN after getting the EAD. Is this a problem?

Don\'t know whether SSN is mandatory or not. But, applying for SSN is a very simple thing. Why don\'t you just do it?
