I had applied for my I-485 in July 1999.
I got married on 12th Nov, 2000 in India and came back to USA with my
wife on 10 Dec, 2000. I entered on H1 and my wife entered on H4.
After coming back I recieved the message that my GC was approved on 21st Nov 2000, while
I was out of the country.
My lawyer told me to apply for my wife\'s since we were married
before the GC was approved. We applied for her I-485 - in Jan 2001.
She got her EAD and AP and also her FP was done in the 1st week of May.
I am still waiting for her I-485 processing results to come through.
Since she got EAD, she is attending college here in US.
I would like to know what are the options for us - in case her I-485 petition is not approved.
Q1. Can she go to an F1 Visa since she is a student
Q2. Can the 2045(i) or 2045(k) help us in any way.
