Wife FP notice not recevied

Both my wife & myself applied 485 together, along with I-140.

However I have received notice for FP appointment for my self only. NSC did not send for my wife. Is it normal? Can I request ASC to take FP for my wife too without FP appointment notice?

I have seen in this forum, people talk about FP code 3. What is it? What is the significant of it?

I'm in the same situation as you. I received FP notice on 09/28/2004 and until today, my wife didnt receive the FP notice despite of repeated calls to the 1-800 # of USCIS. How is this situation dealt ?

code 3 FP

My husband and I received FP notices and had FP (code 3) taken early. We both had LUD on our cases. I received approval on June 22nds but he hasn't yet. When I called TSC, the agent told me that our cases were seperated after FP were received. She advised us to wait. You might want to call. Code 3 means: picture, 10 finger-FP and signature. Go early for your FP. The earlier the better, unless the center you will be going does not do early FP.
