Wife chaperon for the Interview

The wife and I are in a disagreement. I’d like her to accompany me in the Interview process; however, she believes that she does not need to go.

If I file based on 5 years residency, do I need to be accompanied by my wife for the interview?

Your wife is absolutely right.
You wouldn't need her even if you filed under the 3-year rule.
