Wife approved not me

Hi,

   My wife got approved on June 17th, Mine has not been apporoved.
   I was the primary.
   
   Receipt number is WAC 01-296XX
 
   Any one has idea, why my wife got before me.

It is not unusual....

you and your wife applications are treated as a seperate entity, but usually they move together. But sometime one lags behind and it is **not unusual** for the dependent to be approved first. Your will follow shortly.

Thats unusual, but INS is notorious to do such acts

We are assuming that you are the primary applicant. Getting the derivative applicant approved before primary applicant is somewhat unusual, but does happens once in a while. Your approval must be on the corner, which should come anytime.
