My family and I were all refused our B visa due to lack of ties. This has happened twice now, I was told that i would probably get one on my own to sort my affairs out in the US. My question is that if i get my B visa then do a changed to an E2 status while in the uS are my wife and daughter likly to be granted a B visa then to allow them to be with me.
Obviously then we can do a change of status for them too.

Hi

The above seems messy and not sure it would work

It may be better if you all applied for E visa at the same time. An E visa does not normally chage/convert to green card although I do know someone who got approval

To get E visa you must purchase a business and invest a large sum. Put offer in biz subject to visa approval. Make sure you get due dilligence on biz and use a CPA accountant and also write in contract a non compete claus.

You can do as you say, eg you come on B visa and change to E visa but may be separated for some time from family and not a good idea.
