Wierd situation Help Needed about FP

Filed I-140 and I-485 on Dec 16th 2004 and got EAC's on DEC 30th 2004.
1-140 and I-765 got approved on JAN 26th 2005 and received FP notification on 31 MARCH. I requested my lawyer to request for postpone the FP, and I got second notification on 23 APR 2005. I am single and planning to get married in JUN in INDIA. I am kind of worried if go for FP on 23 APR , my I-485 may get approved at any time( may be before I get married). Can anybody suggest me what to do with FP notification? Should I request for another date? Appreciated your suggestions.

Can you move the process from AOS to Counslar Processing to buy some time? Although, I don't know how much time this might get you.

What does your lawyer say about this situation?

I have a question regarding your FP notice.............
You got the first FP notice on March 31rst. when was the actual FP scheduled for?

It doesn't make sense that the postponed date is less than a month from the Notice date.

Mine was a month apart. Notice date was 3/23/05 and the scheduled was 5/11/05.

I talked to Lawer about this and he said I can postpone it but getting next notice date is not in our hands, it could be next month or 3 months after.

I got the first notice date on 23 FEB and scheduled on 31 MAR & the second notice date 14 MAR scheduled on 23 APR. I heard there could be a big delay in the process if I postpone it too many times. Is that true?
 
That might be true (atleast that's what is written on the FP notice), but I don't know how long it might be postponed.

Try to find this information thru a different lawyer also (try www.murthy.com. They have live chat with Attorney Murthy every monday at 9:00PM).

Sometimes lawyers give wrong answers just to get rid of you.

How about AOS Vs. CP process option?
