Wierd Request from VSC!

Hello Guru\'s

I got a request for a copy of all Issued Forms I-20 from VSC. My details: PD: 03/99 ND: 11/99 FP: 4/01. Any suggestions please. I am concerned as to why VSC want\'s I-20 and not any usual request for employment certificate, W2, e.t.c!

INS wants to check if your continuity of maintaining status in
this country, right from the first time that you entered this
country.

INS is probably looking at the "in Status" continuity from the beginning of the time (F1 thru I485...) I20 is verifies the student status and it also usually has the stamps from the international student advisor about abroad travel, practical training commencing dates etc.. This is not unusual for INS to check the validity periods, however..
