I HAVE APLIED FOR 2ND EAD ON 041503 BUT MY CASE WAS TRASFERED ON 030403 TO PHYLADELPHIA.
NOW THEY SENT ME A LETTER WHITH AN APPOIMENT FOR JULY 3rd "TO RECEIVE YOUR EMLPOYMENT AUTHORIZATION CARD"
THEN IT SAYS, "BRING WHITH YOU: THIS LETTER AND YOUR PASSPORT; IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PASSPORT A ID ISSUED BY YOUR
COUNTRY OR STATE YOU MUST ALSO BRING YOUR OLD EMPLOYMENT CARD ISSUED BY BCIS

MY QUESTION IS WHY THEY DON`T SEND IT BY MAIL?
CAN ANY BODY ANSWER PLEASE!

I think when your case is transferred, the local offie is also responsible to give you your EAD card, and they have you come in, take a picture and give you the card on the spot (something like your driver's license at the DMV)

When they mail it, it is sent from Vermont.
 
maybe it is good news

now you are having a chance for interview. It is very likely your local office approve your EAD with you 485. They technically don't want to interview the same person with the same background for more than one time.
 
I would say that IS indeed a good news!

You'll definitely have a chance to be interviewed for the I-485 then or get that scheduled in the near future. Be prepared & good luck!
