I entered for three years in a row, and finally third was a charm. Why? First, because it is hard to live in US on F-1 visa, with being able to work for only 20hr/wk. Second, because my husband's citizenship is due in 2 years and if I didn't get this, I have no clue how would we survive here. Third, I'm from eastern Europe where the unemployment rate is about 20%. In US I can always get a job, at home it's very hard to find one.
