WHy would I-485 be denied ?

Any ideas friends - what are the reasons why someone\'s
GC/I-485 be denied ? Just plain scarred .... Hope you all understand ...

Many reason. A few are:
1)INS has STRANGE rules
2)Having 2 I-140\'s from different companies
3)H-1 expired before filing for 485
4)Incomplete filing of 485 application
 ETC

Did you do a search on this site before posting this message. There was a similar posting in about less than a week. Do some homework before posting "generic postings" in lieu of specific case pertaining postings. That will help you get your answer, and at the same time keep the board free of redundant "generic" postings like FBI Number, VSC number etc. Also it will be easier to go back and search the archive since the number of messages posted will be less.

Having 2 I-140s with different companies is not a problem for
rejection. You can have as many 140s you want to. It doesnt matter.
The one which is supporting your 485 should not get WITHDRAWN. Thats
when you get denied.

I know a friend who had two I-140s from entirely different companies
(approved ones..) and got 485 approved recently without any hassles.
