Why USCIS missed to primary approval?

I filed both I140 and I485 on April 2004 via concurrent filing. Last Friady(Feb. 4th
2005) I have received approval notice both I140 and I485 concurrently by email
from USCIS-CSSO. but the email has been approved to dependent members(I485)
only. Yesterday(Feb, 11 2005) I got I485 approval notice via mail(I797C) from
USCIS. But, they sent dependents members only...

Concurrent filed to NSC
Category : EB3
Priority Date : 01/22/2003
I140/485 RD : 04/02/2004
I140/485 ND : 04/06/2004
FP Done : 06/09/2004
AP AD : 07/02/2004
EAD AD : 06/05/2004
I140 AD : 02/04/2005
I485 AD for dependent members only : 02/04/2005
I485 AD for primary : ?????

If anyone have idea? How they could missed to approval for the primary?
How can they approval to dependent members only without primary approval?
Anyone have same situation like me?

I have heard the same kind of thing happened to one of our relatives.Primary's FP2 is scheduled on Mar'05 with pending state of I-485(ND: 10/02), where as the dependent spouse's I-485 got approved via email on yesterday even though the FP was expired. Ofcousre these I-485 were not filed with NSC(filed with TSC). USCIS is famous for it's weird, highly unpredicatable and ridiculous patterns of approvals as we all know by this time. So anything is possible with USCIS.
Hope u will get it I-485 approval will get in the next few days. Atleast your news gives us ray of hope of our I-485 approvals despite the priority dates crap..

My dependent 485 is also approved as per online status but we did not received notice yet (after 18 days of date sent mentioned in message). Called up service center but of no help. They told that thay do not issue duplicate notice . I shall call again after few days. But this is a bad situation for us as AP is supposed to be invalid after 485 approval but that is not recd yet. So we can not travel abroad.

Go to local office They may help you.
