Folks please add the PD in insert mode in the lists to help guess if this retrogression is aritificial or how soon it can move, most of the old time waiters are in the forum so this should give us a good sense, also if eventually the list needs to go to ombudsman as a general idea why this PD retrogressed after all ???

Please try to maintain the list yourself by add / insert in the right slot where your PD belongs by taking a copy on a notepad, insert your PD and paste the list backThe links do not seem to be working and I have advised the webadmin why it is truncating

The links can also be reached through retrogression header

Priority Dates Retrogression Issues

we seem to have hardly 5-6 in 98,99 year range so far, which can give some ammunition as to why the PD have gone that bad, unless there are tons of people in BEC which seems unlikely

You might want to look up the archives for non-RIR processing dates\times in various states, before they were sent to Backlog Center, to get some clue on the current mess.

I have a feeling many of the old applications might have been from the non-RIR background.

Just a thought.

Hi Guys,
After Oct 1st, Eb2 retrogesion, what will be the current PD for EB2 @ VSC? Any idea?

When will the process resume?

Connection Is slow

Hi my internet conection is slow so was taking longtime to open the insert.

Mine PD is NOV 2001

Think I looked at something on DOL website which also had the oldest labors only on 04/2001 if I am not mistaken, that would still not explain EB3-98/EB2-99, besides that also it would be then right to assume that this artificial backlog has been created by USCIS to wait for the BEC folks to come and file ahead of the PERM filers...

Yep, like you said, it does not explain 98-99 at all. I had expected\still expect a huge bottleneck at 2001. I am thinking dates will move up sometime early next year but will freeze at early 2001.

We desparately need congress intervention for some oxygen.

2001 is bad because all those 245(i) filers. And they belong to EB3 other workers. I cannot figure out why EB1 and EB2 have to be rolled back too.

thats correct in April 2001 there were many many many 245(i) filer. But I have a question, they do not use all of the EB3 (skilled workers) quota. I think they being other worker category they will 10000 visa number.
So what you guys think about this, even then do yuo think there will be backlog due to 245 filers.
I can understand for labor approvals it will fall unders ame queue, but for 140/485 visa numbers allocation or approvals they have there own queue and quota.

Please throw your ideas here.
