There is a \'April/01 I485 filer\' thread which literaly means April RD or possibly late April ND, May ND and June ND people. The \'March ND\' thread which means possibly Feb RD or very early March RD people. But these threads obviously leave a gap for April ND group of people. Why is it happened?

Due to mail room delays I-485 receipts took considerable time. In those days people started May, June, July etc. threads based on Mailing Date (which is suppose to be very close to RD). Slowly those threads are used for tracking things beyond receipts.
Now we have April, May, June, July, Aug, Sept, Oct threads based on MD/RD. So if some one mailed their application after 04/01 then they can join respective thread. So there should not be any question about any gap!
