Why the other Service Center processes actual GC plastic card in a matter of days?

My friends stamped on the same time but with Service Center in Texas got their plastic cards in no more than 2 weeks

According to USCIS website:

"If you were granted permanent resident status or entered the U.S. with an immigrant visa more than 60 days ago and have not received your first permanent resident card, please call 1-800-375-5283"

So call the above number!

Address change

I got my I485 approval in July, 2004. Recently, I had a change of address. I have filled in the AR-11 form and mailed it to USCIS.

Do I also need to call them and inform the change of address? If yes, what is the phone number I should call?

Did you move since having your PP stamped ??
And you are sure of the address you gave when you got the PP stamped ( for the actual card ) ?

Also I've seen that time for plastic is dependent on the local office -- did you see the plastic tracker for data about Miami - maybe its the norm there ??
