I came to the usa on a 2 year H1B visa that expires in Jan 2008. My employer recently applied for a 2 year extension. This has come back approved... but only for 1 year. The admin offocer called uscis but all they gave was a 'that was our decision' response. I am just confused as to what the reasons might be for not approving the 2 years. Could anyone offer any possible explanations?
