why no 2FP yet??????

1FP was done on Oct. 30, 02. and NO FP so far...... why why wy... is there anything that i can do for getting 2FP?

1st FP was done on 04/18/2002(25 Months ago)
Case was transferred to a local office(15 Months ago)
No signs of anything yet!

I don't know... I do think that there is some truth to the fact that an EAD/AP application might trigger some movement, purely from a factual/logistical perspective where someone has to look at the validity of your application number and status before issuing these.

Anyhow, I am in the same situation and my first FP was really late (Oct 1st on a April RD/ND), so I am not sure what to expect. I was told that there would be movement on my case in the next 6 months (that was in March, early April). So, I am just sitting and waiting...
 
Eventhough receiving/submitting FP2 is good and one less thing to worry about in this lengthy GC journey, it is still not the silver bullet to the GC approval problems.

I have my FP2 done 7 months ago. Still no news of appoval. My FP2 notice itself was sent 3 months from FP1 expiry.
 
what is wrong..... with my case....

i thought INS computer system generates 2FP automatically after 1FP is expired.... but i dont think it does..... FRUSTRATION..... i feel like i have to give up on my green card.......and another thought... If INS cant give more green card..that would be fine with me..... just say "wecan no longer accept applications for a while...." That would be less frustratious.... :confused: :mad:
 
An update personally, I received a 2nd FP notice:

4/2/2002 RD
4/26/2002 ND
1FP 10/1/2002

So, everyone is in that line folks... My luck and I got an ASC (application support center) with very little or no rush. 10 minutes from work place, scheduled time: lunch time.

Recently, a few days ago. It is to be done on 6/11 at 1pm. I did not initiate a FP inquiry, in fact, I have called the 1-800 # once in all this time. I did call my congressman (I should say, the congressman who's constituent I am) and his immigration staff was very helpful and told me at the end of March, to expect something in the next 6 months, after contacting VSC.

I am hoping for a 2-3 month waiting period afterwards and approval.

My online message has not changed, nor do I expect it to. LUD (last updated date) remains intact as well. I am assuming LUD will change once the FPs have cleared.
