why my case xreed to Missouri?

My friend live in NJ. Recently he was xered to Chicago IL according to the letter he received. But online says he was xered to Missouri. Did anybobody here have the same situation?
Another question, where will he be interviewed? still Newark? or Missouri? Chicago? How long will it take to get his interview letter?

I thought newark is not backlog for the interview.
why would your friend got transfered to MSC??
