Why Missouri Center?

Hello folks,
I received the receipts today with 3 different receipts #s. I checked the status online and was told that all of these 3 cases were in Missouri Center? I don't understand it. Does anybody know why it's Missouri? Another problem is that I can't see the processing time for Missour Center. It's not even listed under the drop down tab. I googled it a little and finally found some processing time about this service center. However, I can't see any processing time for I485, I130 at all. What is wrong with Missouri Center? Does anybody know please? Did you all get your cases handled at the Missour Center?

The Missouri Service Center is actually NBC (National Benfits Center). It was started in 03 for preprocessing family petitions. pretty much all family based petitions start out at NBC. The NBC primarily does the work and travel authorizations for family based petitions. so to check the processing times go the NBC. From the NBC your file is transfered to your local district office for final processing. hope that helps.
