Why is there no update after FP?

My wife and I received FP notice, which was scheduled on 4/12/05. We did FP early with the notice (about a month ago). There are no updates on my I-485 online status, is this normal? :confused: Will it be updated after the scheduled date? Thanks.
 
You will be cool

On-line status will be updated after your FP done but there is no guarantee how long you gonna wait to see it changes. I saw my LUD and message updated 4 month later after I have my FP2. IMO,Just have your FP done and no need to worried too much. :)

Thanks. Are there any advantages or disadvantages if FP done earlier than the scheduled date?
