Why Is My 140 Still Pending

Guys,

I am sorry if any of you is offended by my post but I have to vent my frustration somewhere and what could be a better place. My ND is 10/21 . I have begun to feel that this might be another one of those dates like 13th of March ( or is it April ) . I am not a superstitious person but this thing is driving me crazy. People in Sept got approved , Nov . got approved . What the hell is up with Oct. 21 :-(((((((((((((((((((
 
You should say some in Sept and few in Nov are approved. Then you have an answer already, don't you?. Some in October also got approved. You are not one of those October lucky guys :D.

No one knows better than this forum members about the so called I-140 pain in the neck. Every one is doing the same.....justing venting out some frustration.

relax.

INS online status educates us that the I-140 cases may take upto 360 days to process, unofficially estimates are 14-15 months.

but also keeping in mind that the INS doesnot follow any known pattern, you might get an approval today itself.
i hope so too.

fyi, there are also a few candidates with the I140 ND's with as early as March' 2003. i myself belong to the july' 2002 camp.

Yes there is no Pattern

Just they they are publishing some non sense date. I am scaning for December 11. Almost 40% of the cases are approved. If you scan May 30 , approval rate is 60% Which happens to be 5 months before the published date.

18 months wait for an RFE

Hi guys

I waited for 18 months to see some change and that too is an RFE. I am waiting to see that RFE.
I-140 (RD - Mar 02 2002) and now (Sep 05 2003) an RFE.
I don't know what they are going to ask?
Mine is EB1 - OR category.

So don't worry about one year wait.. Looks like 15 months wait
would become a standard unless otherwise something really
funny (!!??) happens.

I am sick of this . Seems like the 140 processing has come to a grinding halt. Did anyone call BCIS or does any one have a clue ??? Has VSC suspended 140 approvals ?? Help me here :-(((
 
Hi,

It looks they stoped processing I-140's. I have some random numbers in SEP, OCT, NOV. They not at all touching.
 
I have seen 5 approval of Notice date December 11 on 09/05/2003. All these cases were in received status before that.
All approved on same date
 
I think we are not going to see any noticeable change in approval rate, if there is any such thing exists. Its because for one reason annual audit at service centers (as its last in month of BCIS fiscal year), and other being religeous workers' case handling.

Nothing much to expect from BCIS until October 1st/2nd week !!

That is good news, indeed. Are they I-140s ?. If so they should be EB3, right ?.
