Why I got 2 times finger prints with in 6 months

My wife is physical therapist and we applied I140 and I485 through my wife in Dec 04 and we got receipt numbers in Jan 05. We gave finger prints in Feb once, then I got a notice second time yesterday. She has not completed Visa screening yet. Is there any case like this.

Yeah. Same here. Reckon those people don't know what they're doin'. Go to the second prints appointment, and make sure to let the print munchkin know that you've been there before. Oh - and get in touch with yer lawyer, too, he can start asking questions.

I am in the same boat. Filed 485 in Dec 04. FP1 in Feb, FP2 in Jun.

My lawyer thinks that USCIS is trying to streamline the process so that you don't have to wait long to get the plastic card once the 485 is actually approved. Till now once you were approved you would have to go down again to your local office for more biometric stuff. But I have a couple of friends at work who didn't need to do that and got their card within a week of approval.
