Why delay in my I485 case!! Please advice me..

Please advice me !!!
I haven\'t received my approval till date. The IIO officer is saying that you will get any time. but it is not assigned to an officer still pending

I485 applied on Aug2000
Recived EAD and Parole
Did finger prints on NOV 29th 2000
Finger prints was updated on Jan 9th 2001

what should I do?

ND : Sep 2000 (WAC-00-238--)
FP: Dec 2000
Got AP in Nov\'2000. Went to local office to get EAD.
PD: Feb, 1996 ( yes 1996)

No assigned yet. And fingerprints are not in the same system yet.
