What answers you expect from IIO for your stupid questions like

Why I-485 approval is getting late ?

They will be hearing same question over and over again
for which they do not know answers or( may not supposed to be reavealed to all tom dick and harry )
 
Shantanu, in 99% cases, calling in IIO doesn't make sense. But if your case is unnaturaly delayed, then you just might .. it's very little we can do .. but then again .. thats all we can do .. so might as well do it.

Currently, if you are > WAC02050, don't call IIO.
If you are WAC02001 to WAC02049 .. might call, but don't expect much
< WAC02001 .. should call.

I am not saying Don't call IIO .. BCIS provided that # to call and to inquire on our cases.

But .. the question like that will not get answers, except to test their patience with our foolishness.

Agreed, I am not too thrilled by IIO's myself.

But, your posting this same thread 4 times (I deleted 4 repeats of this thread) is possibly blocking a very needy person's requirement for information. Your name sounds Indian, so I assume you are from the same background as me, you seem to be in the same struggle, why would you do that to anyone in your own shoes? Does it make you feel any better to have unecessarily troubled a fellow human in the same or possibly more mental stress?

You do realize that many of the people who you sting with your remarks, have possibly not seen their loved ones for many years, and have made sacrifices that you can't even begin to comprehend. Why would you be so cruel .. intentionally and without provocation?

Not putting you down, but trying to understand you better. Hope you don't take it otherwise.

Why is I485 getting late?

This is a very genuine question not a a stupid one ! If an IIO can't answer that who can? Atleast with the volume of calls coming in , they might deliberate on the subject if they have meetings and so forth. This is human nature not Rocket Science.

Calling IIO's is a waste of time .. maybe but volume of calls might have an effect thats the hope atleast.
