Why bother ???

Hi All,

I just wanted to share with you my experience this morning with the BCIS phone service.

I called inquiring about my I-140 as it has been 339 days and it is past due.

The answer was: we don't go by processing days but by processing date. The lady kept repeating the same thing over and over, regardless of what I was asking:

Why do they even bother with publishing the processing time ? Why do they have an option to press 4 if your processing time is taking more than we have told you ? Feb 7th was the same date you gave me 2 months ago ? I am a skilled worker, would you go out with me ?

Still got the same answer: We go by the processing date, Feb 7th.

So close but yet so far..
