And the contents of the above case number is still the same old...
Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status: Case approved; approval notice e-mailed.

On December xx, 20yy, this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER was approved and we sent you an e-mail notice. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

these two petitions were approved on 20yy and 20zz.
Why would there be just a soft LUD on them instead of 485(the most recent).
There are no LUDs on newer I-129s ...

They can check your current status anytime. I think before they approve your EAD or AP they checked your 129.

I did not even bothered to apply EAD or AP (but thinking to apply now) as I had 2 more yrs after 6th, and stamped visa as well.
Wonder, if they are planning to ask anything for 485 ( have not gotten FP notice though)

It happend to me yesterday

My I-129 has also got soft LUD on 11/25/2007. It is also not the most current I-129 but one which was approved in 2004.

Can you guys confirm your namecheck/background status? Tomorrow, I have an appointment with infopass people so i will update it tomorrow.

Thanks,

well, as I noted on the previous post (I dont have even gotten the Fingerprint notices as of today, and I did not apply EAD or AP).
I noticed today as you both did, there is a soft LUD on the third I-129 (yes not the most recent and not the most old). on 11/25/2007.
Hey, please update from the infopass...

Thanks

I had one recently too

My I-129 filed in 2003 had an LUD on 11/17/07...It was a Saturday, so I am pretty +ive that all these LUD's on old cases are done by archive jobs (file backup jobs to make space) in their system, especially if the LUD falls on a Saturday or Sunday...

What do you all think????

I was guessing the same, but you know, if you archive or backup, you would not modify the created date/timestamp nor you would do anything to that file, it is just the batch/schedule that kicks in..moves files from one media to next etc..wherever they go retain their timestamps, unless one opens, edits, doesnot modify, but saves or some application even saves the information if someone edit..but donot save and exit/close.
Given that..it is not the archive or backup, what could it be ? why would one jump in 6 year old I-129 (not one, not two, but the third). Don't go crazy..I have 5 of them, and I had had no issues such as RFE, or denial, or rejections.
We can find something from the infopass..., if some more LUDs occur after infopass (as one of us is approaching for different reason with an info pass)(I said one of us, thinking there are only 4-5 people to show concern from this LUD).

how did you happen to receive the card (why do you bother if you have the card on hand). Or is that card received on your signature is referring to EAD ?

My and my friend's I-140 also had an LUD 0n 11/17/07
and my I-485 had an LUD on 11/25/07

couple of years ago I read the printout from uscis database.
and all LUDs that happened was reflected in there. All LUDs has a description.
Like: "check initiated" or "case placed under supervision"

I went to infopass today, officer told me my NC is still pending but my case was assigned to the department on Nov 19th. However, she also told me as my NC is not clear there would not be any further action.

Im waiting for my wife's case
