Whoever Filed for AP this year and got approved

A friend of mine (who just filed 485 EB) asked his attorney to also file his Advance Parole. When he got his receipt it says the processing time is 400 days ???!!!


Does this make any sense ? Could his attorney have screwed up the application ?

To those of you who filed AP this year, please share the info on the processing time specified on the receipt.

I filed my 2nd AP ND March/24/04 I got the same message. But it usually takes 2 to 3 months for approval. Just ignore this msg

BTW my 1st AP was a year ago was saying samething and I got the approval in around 3 month as I remember

INS has more then one type of AP cases, 400 days is the duration for the a type of AP case... Usually the Employment based AP cases gets approved much quicker about 2-3 months.. from NSC mined got approved in about 50 days....

Mine also says 400 days. I hope this is not real.
