Who Receives the RFE??

Hi All

In case of RFE, who is going to receive it? the lawyer or the applicant.

fortunate ones .. if they filed their 485 two years back .. :)

unfortunate ones .. if they receive RFE after 10 years of submitting the 485 application ..:D

TO answer your question, i have heard abt lawyers receiving the RFEs ..
 
The online status has changed for my case:

"we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed."

I have not received the notice yet. Will check with my lawyers tomorrow. Is this the RFE?

Yes its a RFE.
and i believe your RD is 12/2001 and not 12/2003. ;)
 
Yes. My RD is 12/2001. :)

I went and got my interim EAD today at the SF office. The officer there actually reminded me that they just sent me a RFE. The officer also verified my address change for me.... I was very satisfied by his showing of professional courtesy.... Let's hope that service is actually improving... It was the best experience that I have had with the immigration service.

Did your online status and AVM get updated saying they issued RFE.


Usually lawyer gets the RFE and FP's you and lawyer both.
