Some guys got their 485 approvals with REF recently. Who got approval without REF? No one, right?
INS don't give us any I-485 approval. We need to renew EAD and AP, and maybe REF and do 2nd fingerprint. One 485 case will produce several other cases. So INS is busying to process those cases other than 485. We need to wait, wait........
