Only persons immigrating with you must also be present at the interview.
Not necessarily. Sometimes IO may invite only the primary applicant, and all the dependents will just wait in the hall. However, rule of the thumb is to be on the spot at the appointed time. And your IO will tell you what to do next.

you should sent forms ASAP when you get it especially if your CN is low
for my case NL Dated 5/28 I got 1NL 6/23 send back to KCC 6/24 6/25 deliverd by Fedex 7/14 KCC confirmed received and are currently processing
usually after June thery a lot mail to sending to KCC if you case is low but later to mail to KCC it might impact your interview date
