Who gets approval notice?

My application was approved on 29th. The lawyer has not received
the approval notice. He says that I would get in mail. I do
not think he is even going to inform when he gets the notice, and
insists that I would get a courtesy copy to home. For those guys, it
is just another paper

Does the candidate gets the approval notice to home address?
