Who gets 485 Approval Notice?

Who gets the 485 Approval Notice me or my lawyer?

You will get the courtesy copy. The attorney will get the original.
Courtesy copy is good for stamping.

But the courtesy copy mentions that it may not be used to get the stamp. Does the "may not" mean "indeed can"? Just a bit confused with the USCIS language!

I haven't seen anybody who was not stamped for not having original approval. Courtesy copy is as good as original for stamping.

Just for info
Even both my self and my wife did stamping using courtesy copy.
