I have just got my labor approved and i am ready to file 140/485/ead/ap.But my attorney said he will file 140/485.Does he need to file ead/ap first or i can file?Any inputs. Also my case will go to Nebraska service center. how many days does it take for approval of ead/ap these days. Also i will file for ead only and my wife ead/ap .can we do that?. can it be premium processed ead/ap.Any inputs.

Ead/ap

Your attorney could file your EAD/AP along with I-485/I-140 as well.

As per current postings from NSC/TSC, it takes about 75-90 days to get approval on EAD/AP. However I have seen several postings from users on this forum that they were lucky enough to receive their EAD/AP approvals in 30-35 days.

Thanks for the input. Also i needed to know whether the medical exam required to file 140/485 is covered under medical insurance.I am looking to send all the documents required and take the medical exam when i get a rfe. Can i do that?Is the medical exam required for ead/ap too. Any inputs.

Please look for my response to this question of yours somewhere else in this forum.

If you are asking for suggestions, I would not try to trick the system but technically you should be able file the petition without it. (For that matter you could file the petition without any documents)

I am not trying to do that . I am only in this dilemma becoz i may relocate out of state soon and want to take my medical exam there instead of here .But at the same time i need to file for my ead/ap soon as my visa expires shortly.
i only needed to know whether anybody here has done it and it will not have a negative effect on the case. This is just a thought.
