Guys,

I was able to file my I-485 in April 2005. The california centre is now
processing June 16th 2005 applications. Even though my priority date is of
September 2000 , Is there a way to find out if things like name check or other things (I am not sure what they are) have been done on my application or not.

I tried e-mailing FBI but have not recieved any response for name check. Is there a way to find out the status [just more than that it has been filed].

Call USCIS Customer Service and inquire about the status of your case. They forward your request to CSC. CSC will notify you the status in writing.
