Hi,
I am getting married in June 2005, my fiancé has H1B approved but not yet stamped from a consulting company, Her notice of approval for H1 was release in Nov 2004 but she has not yet stamped the VISA in passport. We are getting married in June 2005, she will be coming with me in July 2005 after marriage. Can any one please advise what VISA we should stamp first? Can she stamp H1B and stay in India, I afraid If we apply for her H4 later and will her current H1 be cancelled?
We want to keep H1B valid as it's hard to get new one and wait for fresh quota. Shall we just stamp her H1 and come US after marriage. But I am afraid if her consultant could not get project or job can she still legally stay in US?
Please help.
