Which status AOS or H1 on the invitation document show to the US Embassy abroad?

Hi,
My 485 is pending now, no change of job, H-1 expired couple months ago and now is using EAD to work. I am going to invite my parents to come for a visit this month, should I put my status as AOS(485 Pending) or still H1b on the letter to the US Embassy? Do I need to attach the copy of H1b approval even though it is expired?
Please shed some light if you were in the same boat before.

I am in the same boat...

and I sponsored for my father-in-law's visitor visa last month.

I used my I-485 to prove my valid status here.

I furnished the following AOS docs -

1. I-485 receipt notice for myself and spouse.
2. Advanced Parole copies for both of us.
3. EAD copies for both of us.
4. I-94 stamp from the last entry into US (we used AP to enter) for both of us.
5. Full passport copies for both of us.
