Recently, I got married to US citizen. I had all the applications ready and before i send them anywhere i went to district office in Columbus,oh(thats where i live) and have been told there that i have to send all the papers to chicago. So i did that and then they returned my I-131 and told me to send it to service center in Nebraska(did that too). Can someone explain to me now how do i check on uscis.gov processing time? I mean which district i should choose. There is columbus,oh on drop down list but i send mine to chicago so should I look under chicago ? But then why they told me to send it there if I could leave it in ohio which would be much faster?? How is this process working ?
