Which service center is Better to apply 140 ?

Guys :

Few months back my I140 denied based on company financials and recently i was given job offers from 2 companies who are ready to file my 140 & 485 with subs .

One company files in vermount and other in nebraska .Since i have less than 1 year for my h1b visa I need to choose one which gives me better edge in getting GC ..

My last I140 denial is from nebraska center .

In this scenario which center is better to apply ?

NSC is presently working at snail's pace as far as 140 is concerned.If you are ready to slug it out for 2 years opt for NSC,else go for VSC and atleast get your 140 cleared, and use AC21.

To give you a honest and practical opinion: Go with the company that offers better job stability, has better financials, better strength, better chances of not giving u problems with GC, works better for u in the long term in life.
Since u already have a labor, once u get into the 140, 485 queue, you should get a 7 th year extension. Both Vermont and Nebraska are almost equal with Vermont being slightly better these days. However all this is just a see-saw game. I remember Calif being the worst around 4 yrs ago and then they became the best around 2 yrs ago and then again they r different now. So dont base career decisions based on which center is better now. Base it on your family, the strengths and weaknesses of the company.

Did you apply 485 earlier in NSC. Pl let me know it will help in getting ideas.

I filed my I1485 before for which my 140 got denied and the company appealed the case and now the online message says it went to administrative tribunal ..Company immigration attorney suggested me not to keep hopes on apeal as it will take long time & its rare they reverse the decision .
 
Couple of quick pointers.
- Going for CP from NSC seems good now. But with a 140 rejected in the past, going for CP in the future would be risky. There would be very little recourse for appeal.
- Just jumping to a company based on present trend would be not wise. Body baggers, body shoppers, contractors always lure desperate people with promise of great financial strength of the company. Only after joining does one realize the hollowness of the claims. So one has to do due diligence w.r.t the company financials. If the company courting you is private, but is decently known or is a public company then there is a chance of a good deal of info being available in the market.
- Small time company lawyers who handle everything under the sun are "jack of all trades, master of none". An hour of consultation with a specialist, immigration lawyer would be worth it.
- Do a good deal of analysis and information gathering before taking the decision. I implore you to not just join a company based on service center. You might be throwing away a good career opportunity, a good stability, a good work environment (remember 1/3 of life is spent in office...the life there should be good), and a good chance for smoother immigration process. A person getting his GC while working for CISO from CSC might have a better peace of mind than one getting from NSC or VSC while working for a sweat-shop...
- NAANSHI, ur 140 is being appealed..Please add your thoughts.
